Young gnomes were taught to dream the impossible in school, and then tinker and conjure the sands and the winds until their pint sized dreams were achieved. Small dreams for small men, their taller friends would mock. But there were some gnomes whose dreams brought them on distant journeys that crossed paths with other like-minded adventurers who were eager to explore the corners of the world and work together to defeat every challenge that laid before them. This young group rallied together and faced extraordinary creatures, many doubted their success against some of the most fabled and dangerous monsters and dragons of Norrath and Kunark, but these adventurers pushed on and persevered until their larger than Norrath dreams were achieved.
It has no doubt been a rocky road, new members have come into our lives, shared our pains and our victories, and departed us as battle-bonded comrades. Through a huge campaign of teamwork and dedication, these thrill seeking adventurers completed over 55 keys to Veeshan’s Peak as a guild, and then raided the toughest dragons they have met to date.
Rumors in the wind tell us that these dragons of Veeshan’s Peak have only been slain by the men and women of Kunark by very few guilds before Velious. I am proud to say, Vintage has accomplished this legendary feat as well, and I want to thank every member in Vintage for the sacrifices and dedication which everybody has made individually and as a group to accomplish this goal.
Veeshan’s Peak’s finest are currently being farmed weekly for gear and upgrades before we move on to the Velious expansion some time this February.
