After months of slaying Trakanon and his goonies, completing over 38 VP key quests, and farming resist gear and levels, we were finally ready for the new challenges that laid dormant for us in Veeshan’s Peak. Getting up to this point was no easy task as we constantly raided Plane of Hate, Fear and Sky, completed a majority of the guild’s epics, and farmed Venril Sathir and all of the Kunark dragons.
Opening day of Veeshan’s Peak for many of us was like trying to remember a childhood memory. The faint details of how to succeed in the zone were on the tips of our tongues, as we relived our first trip to the zone from many years ago. For some, it was our first time ever stepping foot into VP, and the surprises in store were exciting. We sat at the zone in for hours pulling racnars and wurms, Silverwing and Hoshkar. Silverwing was a easy kill for us, rewarding us with two Hammers of the Dragonborns, however Hoshkar provided a challenge, eating us like Halloween candy.
Vintage will be entering Veeshan’s Peak again tomorrow to seek revenge on Hoshkar and attempt the other dragons of the zone with a larger raid force and some new strategies after learning from the pitfalls of our first visit. Screenshots of us in VP will be posted soon!
