An EQ Mac Progression Guild on Al'Kabor

Epics Completed, Hello Veeshan’s Peak!

Vintage has been working hard over the past few weeks finishing off the last of the uncompleted Epic quests. From farming rare drops in The Hole, Plane of Hate, Fear and Sky to leveling and collecting resist gear for our respected adversary, Trakanon.

The dedication of our progression members have paid off handsomely in a feeling of victory that we thought was only achievable ten years ago. Whether it was to complete unfinished epic quests or awaken their dormant nostalgia, Vintage members have legitimately beaten the raid content and every epic quest available in the expansion and for the most part, experienced EQ like it was originally released.

Kunark has been a challenging expansion which has helped us grow as a raiding force. New raiding techniques were born, the art of mobilizing quickly practiced, and defeating the challenges as they came one at a time. Of course, we had many wipes which reminded us that one mistake could mean that was the end of our night, but we were willing to help each other up and try again and again until successful. One of my favorite qualities of our members is that we never quit, even when facing the loss of an entire Shadowknight epic to the hands of a life-tapping badass in City of Mist, we ate deaths and made attempts until we found a strategy that won.

So without further ado, congratulations to some of our recent completed Epic owners, Koda (bard), Akuto (necromancer), Koopa (shadowknight), Blic (magician), Brawndo (shaman), and Mefsolis (druid). We sought out to do what many thought we couldn’t and have proven we could! And now, we ‘re looking forward to wrapping up Kunark and taking our epic’d force to Veeshan’s Peak in the upcoming weeks before unlocking the next expansion, where even more challenges await!
